ABOUT AFS

The company was formed in 1987 and is currently a successful independent fire company. We have a vast experience in fire system engineering and associated products. We offer a national service in the UK, and overseas via agents and distributors.
Maintenance is available on installed systems, irrespective of original manufacturer.

SERVICES

AFS designs, installs, commissions and maintains automatic fire extinguishing systems for large and small fire and security systems projects. This includes fire alarms, intruder alarms, and closed circuit television systems, such as those installed in town centres, shopping centres, offices, Petrochem heavy industrial and factory developments. In addition we can supply a comprehensive range of fire alarm control equipment, ranging from conventional monitored panels to `State of the art` analogue addressable systems. The latter can be individually customised to meet a customer’s specific requirements.

At AFS, we pride ourselves in offering a total service from sales to aftercare. Our interest does not end with sales and it is always our aim to build a long term, ongoing relationship with each of our customers.
We have a range of aftercare packages to suit every requirement. These include standard preventative maintenance or comprehensive maintenance contracts , covering both parts and labour. Customers with an AFS maintenance agreement have the advantage of being able to call on us 24 hours a day each and every day of the year.

As we are not tied to any one supplier or product we are able to offer suitable and economic solutions to our clients requirements.
Unlike most fire and security companies, our customers have a choice as to whether they own, rent or lease one of our systems. Whatever you choose, we are certain that our prices to be amongst the most competitive in the industry.

It is the policy of AFS to give the safety, health and welfare of our Employees and all others that come into contact with our operations the highest priority to ensure, as far as is reasonably possible, that adequate protection is provided from the risk of accident or injury.
Our policy points out the most common problems. However, an awareness of the need for safety and a common – sense attitude will help prevent accidents and injury. To protect employees, the company provides a comprehensive stock of protective clothing and equipment.
In order to promote safety awareness, the company operates a continuous safety scheme; this is to make sure that all our employees are conversant with all the latest developments in safety procedures.
